Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the Eye Recommend member portal and services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Lens & Coating Warranty
- 120-day Rx Total Satisfaction Guarantee — ONE TIME replacement at no charge for Rx changes, PAL non-adapts, measurement errors, edging errors, ordering errors, or patient dissatisfaction.
- 30-day Rx order cancellations accepted.
- 2-year lens manufacturer & AR coating defects warranty under normal patient use and care.
Warranty Process
- Re-order the redo through the online ordering system, providing the original invoice number and reason for the redo.
- Lenses must be sent back to the lab for issues related to AR coatings, manufacturer defects, and all lab redoes in order to receive a credit.
- Replacements for AR coatings and manufacturer defects will be for the exact same product, coating, frame and Rx as the original order, after the 120-day satisfaction guarantee period has ended.
Process Times & Delivery
- No shipping charges or handling fees.
- 5 workdays for uncut orders.
- Edge & Assembly and Drill Mount orders add 2 additional days from the date of frame arrival at the lab.
- Guaranteed process times for uncut orders only:
- More than 5 business days = 50% credit on the invoice to the practice.
- More than 8 business days = 100% credit on the invoice to the practice.
- Guaranteed process times do not apply to: all high index (1.60, 1.67, & 1.74), drill jobs, all tints, wraps, mirrors, specialty or out-of-range Rx (e.g. high prism).
- To obtain credit, a late fee claim must be submitted within 14 days of invoice date, including: Account #, Account Name, Invoice #, Job Reference.
Partner Payment Terms
Eye Recommend works actively with supplier partners to provide adjusted payment terms for member purchases. Please check back regularly as this list is updated as new partners confirm adjusted terms.
- Extended payment terms are negotiated on behalf of members for purchases made through Eye Recommend billing.
- For purchases made on or after April 1, extended terms may not be available — we recommend purchasing accordingly.
- Credits owed are applied over the deferral period provided by the specific supplier partner.

Second Pair Program
- Patients have 120 days to qualify for the second and third pair discount.
- 50% off the second pair.
- Mix & match across partner brands and DIY lenses.
Equipment Rebates
Eye Recommend members earn 2% of net purchases of partner products towards any purchase to enhance practice performance (clinic renovations, marketing, equipment, etc.). The value of the purchase must exceed the value of the rebate. Submit receipt before December 31st. No backdating.
Photo Usage Terms
This section governs usage rights for photos downloaded from the Eye Recommend Photo Library.
- Photos may only be used for the purpose and length of time indicated at the time of download.
- Photos may only be used for marketing or promotion directly related to the member's eyecare practice.
- Marketing efforts must be in good taste with regard to race, creed, religion, sexuality, gender, or other moral beliefs. Eye Recommend reserves the right to determine a campaign's moral standing.
- Member's practice must be in good standing with Eye Recommend for the entire time the image is in use.
- Images are not transferable to other members or practices.
- Images may not be used for non-commercial applications or to promote other industries or services.
- Usage rights do not continue should the member leave Eye Recommend.
- Eye Recommend retains all ownership of photos in perpetuity. Members are granted temporary usage only.
General Terms
- Eye Recommend reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes are effective upon posting.
- Continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.
